Board approves Sheth home addition with nine conditions

NJ EAST BRUNSWICK — East Brunswick zoning board approves Sheth home addition for aging father. The Board of Adjustment unanimously approved a 748-square-foot single-story addition at 66 Rice Run for Himanshu and Dipti Sheth, with conditions including personal-use-only restrictions on a yoga room and exterior-matching requirements. The addition requires side and rear yard variances of 18.2 and 87.2 feet and will accommodate their aging father's six-month annual visits with improved accessibility.
The board also carried to June 18 an application by Daniel Walsh for lot-size and width variances at 24 South Drive, requiring submission of complete architectural plans by June 8.
