East Brunswick Zoning Board approves Cornell Drive sunroom variance

NJ EAST BRUNSWICK — Zoning board unanimously approves setback variance to allow three-season sunroom at Cornell Drive. The board cleared Krishna Menon's application for a 17-by-12-foot glass-enclosed addition on an existing rear deck at 15 Cornell Drive, overriding Village Green-2 zone setback requirements. Applicant testified the structure would enable year-round enjoyment of views of the South River.
All seven eligible board members voted yes, citing evidence that similar structures exist in the Windsong neighborhood and the homeowners association approved the project.
