Planning Board carries two subdivisions to May 13 vote
Planning Board · Meeting of March 25, 2026
NJ EAST BRUNSWICK — Planning Board continues two subdivisions to May, reviews school parking project without action. The board carried application #25-24 (Hillel, 10 Tracy Drive) to May 13 and adjourned application #26-03 (Hussain, 15 Kerschner Lane), both two-lot residential subdivisions in separate zones. The board conducted a courtesy review of Frost Elementary's proposed parking expansion, increasing spaces from 57 to 94 with separate bus and parent drop-off areas, taking no formal vote.
Public opposition to both projects was substantial; board attorney Lawrence B. Sachs clarified the Planning Board cannot approve or deny school capital projects and will send comments to the Board of Education.
