NJ EAST BRUNSWICK — East Brunswick Redevelopment Agency reorganizes leadership and approves budget with staffing questions unresolved. The Agency elected James Wendell as Chairman and Rachel Cohen as Vice Chair, with Loren Morace continuing as Agency Clerk and Angel Albanese nominated as CFO/Treasurer. The Agency unanimously approved the 2026 budget and supporting organizational resolutions but tabled the appointments of an Executive Director and Accountant for future consideration.
Executive Director Michael Hughes reported the local mall owner will present at a future meeting, while Chairman Wendell noted that a judge ruled in favor of property owners in the town's Edgeboro legal dispute, with the town consulting legal counsel on the matter.
